Where we began
OK RDY initially began with a focus on demystifying pathways into STEM careers. We created a matching-tool for students and graduates. We wanted to connect Australia’s emerging talent pipeline with companies and find a great culture fit.
With user-centric design in mind, the team donned their OK RDY t-shirts to conduct extensive interviews on campus with students and professionals in boardrooms.
Early learnings from all stakeholders showed values-based matching and culture connections were number 1 in priority above salaries, titles and everything else. This alignment forged the foundations for OK RDY’s technology and business strategy.
OK RDY is now a multi-award winning platform helping organisations attract, develop and retain talent through values-based matching. We’ve developed the world’s first application of artificial intelligence + natural language processing (NLP) applied to mentoring.
What’s that mean? We use cool technology, developed here in Australia to help make mentoring meaningful. We are very proud to support the career journeys of mentors and mentees across a broad range of programs. From students to entrepreneurs to talent pipelines to diversity and inclusion, to emerging leaders to organisation-wide networking, we’re on a mission to grow our Australian start-up into a category-defining company.
